We encourage couples from all over the United States and Canada to serve as hosts. As a host you will stay in the beautiful Retreat Center Host Couple Suite and be provided all of your meals.

Your role as hosts is to create a warm, hospitable environment for QuietWaters Retreat Center guests, provide for their physical comfort, and give spiritual support to the Retreat ministry.

You are not on your own when you serve as a host. You will go through two hours of training and receive a training manual with all the information you will need to carry out your responsibilities as a host. If you need assistance, a staff member and a volunteer are just 10 minutes away. However, most of what you are called upon to do is quite simple and enjoyable.

As a host couple, you are not “on duty” 24/7 during your stay. You are only asked to be on duty to share meals with the guest(s) – meals which you will prepare. We also ask you to spend your nights at the Retreat Center.

There is lots of time in the morning and afternoon for being a tourist. Also, on the weekend we do not provide all the meals so the guest(s) will have some time on Saturday and Sunday to tour the mountains.

You will serve as host for two weeks. Our client couples arrive on a Sunday evening and leave by noon on Friday. So as a host couple you begin your duty early Sunday afternoon and at the end of the second week can plan on leaving Friday afternoon.

Those flying would fly into Denver International Airport (DIA). You are responsible for your own transportation both in getting to Denver and while you are serving.
