Prayer Team

Oswald Chambers says, “Prayer does not equip us for greater works, prayer is the greater work.”

The Prayer Team of QuietWaters Ministries invites you to join them in this “greater work” as they pray for pastors and missionaries being served by Quiet Waters Ministries.

John says, “I say to you, he who believes in Me, greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father”   John 14:12.   I wonder if some of those “greater works” were the act of praying for the saints.

Prayer is a vital part of QuietWaters Ministries.  When a pastor’s wife was told that she was being prayed for as she and her husband were in our Counseling Intensive program, she said, “then those weren’t just coincidences that happened during my counseling.”  No they weren’t coincidences; they were answers to prayers lifted up by our Prayer Team and others who cared deeply for our well-being.

We strongly believe that “The prayer of a righteous man (or woman) is powerful and effective.”  James 5:16 (NIV)

We are looking for men and women to join us in praying daily for Christian leaders and the ministry of QuietWaters.  If you live in the Denver metro area, you can join the Prayer Team when it meets the second Monday of each month at 8:30 a.m. with the President to learn about the most recent prayer requests for the ministry.  Those prayer requests are then mailed to our Prayer Team members throughout the world.  Also throughout the month Prayer Team members receive email updates on prayer needs.
